Cadaverous Infestation is a curse found in Curse of the Dead Gods.

- Some enemies lie dormant, hidden within hosts, waiting for the moment to strike at yet another unwary prey.
• Regular enemies can spawn additional creatures when killed
Gameplay: While under the effect of this curse, killed enemies spawn bat-like creatures upon death. The bats tend to surround the player while in darkness and occasionally perform a basic melee attack. They do little damage and die in 1 hit from most weapons, but can be an annoying distraction especially in rooms where there's already multiple enemies.
